The Kingdom Age

It’s time to prepare for the return of the King. The Lord desires our focus to begin shifting to Him and His return. The church has focused much upon herself, but it is time to start transitioning to focusing on the physical Kingdom of God being established by Christ at His return.

The church age, that began nearly two thousand years ago, is coming to a close. The Kingdom age is upon us. Jesus will establish His Kingdom upon the earth at His return. Up until this point, Jesus’s Kingdom has been an internal Kingdom (Luke 17:20-21). Jesus has allowed Satan to maintain control of the kingdom’s of this world until His return. Satan will give his power and authority over to the kingdom’s of this world to his chosen one or antichrist for a period of three and a half years (Revelation 13:1-10). Then the age of the Kingdom of God will break forth upon the earth as Christ returns in His glory.

Scripture tell us that Jesus will reign upon the earth for a thousand years (Revelation 20:1-7). The only holy city, the New Jerusalem, will descend from Heaven at Christ’s return (Revelation 21:1-3). The holy city is made up of those who have made themselves ready as the Lord’s bride. These are the overcomers and the martyrs that the promise is given to of ruling and reigning with Christ for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 2:26-27).

Some have taught that the New Jerusalem will not descend from Heaven until after the 1,000 reign of Christ upon the earth, but this is incorrect. The book of Revelation is not completely in order. Some parts are in order and some are not. This is why we need the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us. 2 Peter Chapter 3 is a companion to Revelation Chapter 21, and it shows us when the “new Heavens and new earth” occurs; which according to Revelation Chapter 21:1-3 is when the the New Jerusalem comes to earth and Christ makes His physical tabernacle among men.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish with a [mighty and thunderous] roar, and the [material] elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be [in the meantime] in holy behavior [that is, in a pattern of daily life that sets you apart as a believer] and in godliness [displaying profound reverence toward our awesome God], [while you earnestly] look for and await the coming of the day of God. For on this day the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the [material] elements will melt with intense heat! But in accordance with His promise we expectantly await new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.” (2 Peter 3:10-13 AMP)

Feast of Tabernacles

In the coming Kingdom age, Christ Himself will be the tabernacle among men (Revelation 21:3). Jesus will be the temple and the light of His city or His people on the earth (Revelation 21:22-23). The Lord will be a dwelling, canopy, or shelter to His bride upon the earth:

“And the Lord will create over the whole site, over every dwelling place of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy (a defense of divine love and protection).” (Isaiah 4:5 AMPC)

The feast of tabernacles will be celebrated during the 1,000 reign of Christ upon the earth. However, the feast will not be a type or shadow as presented in the Old Testament. The feast will be reality. It will be the Lord’s city (His bride) clothed in His glory (the thick cloud of His presence and splendor). Some people who survived the great tribulation (Revelation 21:24-27) will come under judgment in the millennium if they refuse to come to the Heavenly city and celebrate this feast:

And everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths. And it shall be that whoso of the families of the earth shall not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, upon them there shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt does not go up to Jerusalem and present themselves, upon them there shall be no rain, but there shall be the plague with which the Lord will smite the nations that go not up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the consequent punishment of the sin of Egypt and the consequent punishment of the sin of all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.” (Zechariah 14:16-19 AMPC)

This has been the feast that the Lord has been trying to bring His church to in our age. Not an outward feasting of rituals, but a feast of inward life. A feast of being tabernacled in the Lord Himself. A feast of being in the presence of God, and receiving His life in our spirits. The feast that He has chosen for us is the manifestation of Christ’s life in us and through us.

Many believers are still trapped in outward and physical feasts of the Old Covenant. But the Father desires to give us the New Covenant which is His Son. Being tabernacled in Christ is the feast that the Father is requiring of us. It’s the true feast that we should want. The Father doesn’t want us to merely celebrate a natural feast over a few days every year. He wants us to partake of the life and presence of His Son on a daily and continual basis. This is the spiritual feast that the Father has chosen for us. Carnal minded believers will seek natural feasts, but the spiritual will embrace the spiritual. Christ is spiritual life. There is nothing spiritual apart from Christ and His life. Types and shadows do not contain the Life. Only the Light Himself contains the Life.

The River of Life

“In that day there will be no light; the glorious ones (heavenly bodies) shall be darkened. But it will be a unique day which is known to the Lord—not day and not night, but at evening time there will be light. And in that day living waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea (Dead Sea) and half of them to the western sea (the Mediterranean); it will be in summer as well as in winter. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord shall be the only one [worshiped], and His name the only one.” (Zechariah 14:6-9 AMP)

Christ will literally be the light of the city of God in the coming age. He will also be the temple in the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:22-23). The Heavenly Jerusalem about to be established on the earth will have the Lamb as its light and as its temple. The water of life will flow from the Lamb who is the temple:

Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Christ), in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Revelation 22:1-2 AMP)

This is the Temple and River of life spoken of in Ezekiel 47:1-9. Christ is that Temple. Water will flow from Him and bring the Dead Sea to life. The water of life will produce the tree of life, which will produce fruits for the healing of the nations. The overcoming bride will be apart of bringing healing to the nations of the world. She will give the fruit (Christ) to the people of the world. The land and the peoples will be healed through the ministry of the bride. The greatest ministry is yet to come in the Kingdom age. The Lord wants us to see His eternal purpose and look to the destiny that He has planned for us in His Kingdom.

Not all people will be allowed to enter the New Jerusalem in the millennium (Revelation 21:27, Zechariah 14:21). The bride of overcomers will have tremendous responsibility and authority delegated by the Lamb in the Kingdom age. She will be given a rod of iron to rule the nations with the Lamb (Revelation 2:26-27). These will also “shepherd” the nations. They will be ministers of the water of life that proceeds from the Lamb. The Lord will bring restoration to the earth and it’s growing millennium population through His glorious bride.

Millennium

The peace and joy of Christ will fill the earth in the coming Kingdom age. The knowledge of Christ’s glory will fill the earth because messengers of His glory will be sent all over the earth to reveal His glory. The mature sons of God will be revealed and the earth will stop groaning. Earthquakes will cease and volcanoes will no longer erupt. Abnormal weather patterns such as tornadoes and hurricanes will no longer exist, because sin will not be destroying the earth.

““Behold, I am creating new heavens and a new earth; And the former things [of life] will not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever over what I create; Behold, I am creating Jerusalem to be a source of rejoicing And her people a joy. I will also rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; And there will no longer be heard in her The voice of weeping and the sound of crying. No longer shall there be in it an infant who lives only a few days, Or an old man who does not finish his days; For the youth who dies at the age of a hundred, And the one who does not reach the age of a hundred Will be thought of as accursed.” (Isaiah 65:17-20 AMP)

We will forget the evil and terrible struggle of this current age, and we will be filled with the joy of the Lord. Joy and peace will be the hallmarks of the Kingdom age. We will experience full and complete rest in Christ without battling evil. People who survived the tribulation, and who didn’t take the mark of the beast (who were also never born again); will begin having children. They will begin living longer and longer like in the days of Adam and Eve. A person who dies at 100 year old will be considered a child. Meaning people will live to be 600, 700, and 800 years old.

The following scripture will not be fully realized until the millennium. We will see the complete restoration of countries, states, and cities. The Lord will use His overcoming bride to be ministers of restoration. The Lord has a lot for us to do in the next age, and it is His purpose for us. He wants us to be excited about what is coming.

Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up and restore the former desolations; And they will renew the ruined cities, The desolations (deserted settlements) of many generations. Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, And foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers. But you shall be called the priests of the Lord; People will speak of you as the ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, And you will boast of their riches. Instead of your [former] shame you will have a double portion; And instead of humiliation your people will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double [what they had forfeited]; Everlasting joy will be theirs.” (Isaiah 61:4-7 AMP)

As the 1,000 reign nears its end, the messengers of that day will be released again.

The Second Coming of Satan

The peace of the 1,000 year reign will be troubled by dark prophetic warnings to the messengers. The Lord will give understanding of Satan’s new battle plan before He is released from the bottomless pit (Revelation 20:1-3, 7-10). These messengers will then be sent out to all the earth to make a people ready for the second coming of Satan. The messengers will preach the difference between living under the peace of the Lord, from living under the dark slavery of Satan. They will teach the history of how Satan perverted and enslaved the masses taking many to Hell. The witnesses will proclaim the loving kindness of the Lord, and demonstrate their message by the power and glory of God.

These millennial messengers will save most from eternal damnation. However, when Satan is released he will deceive “many as the sand of the seashore.” This could be millions of people. Even though they lived under peace and joy for hundreds of years, many will follow Satan. It’s foolish to think Satan does not have power. If you can influence and deceive, you have power. Just as a large group of angels chose to turn away from God in a perfect Heavenly environment, so will a multitude of people do so when Satan is set free.

Satan is only given a short time to deceive the nations and mount a rebellion against God and His people. However we should know that God’s definition of “a short time” is often different from our definition. The Lord could allow Satan to roam free for a hundred years before He casts Him into Hell. The Lord must give those people born in the Kingdom age a chance to choose Him or evil, just as we have been given a choice. The perfect Judge knows what He is doing. We have things more difficult in this age because we have been born into a world of evil and sin. Those born into the Kingdom age are born into peace and joy. Therefore, they will experience a much harsher judgment for turning away from God and choosing Satan, as those who do likewise in this age.

The Powers of the Age to Come

Before the new day dawns and the Kingdom age breaks forth upon the earth, the final generation before the coming of the Lord will taste of the powers of the age to come (Hebrews 6:5). The Lord will prepare His church for the final battle against Satan’s antichrist and false prophet. The Lord will release His arsenal against the global beast system that is currently being established. Apostles and prophets will receive revelatory strategies to equip and release the bride for the final battle. The raw power of God will be released through His bride. This power will be fully accessed in the new era of the Kingdom after Christ returns. But those disciples of Jesus who have carried their crosses and been approved by God, will taste of God’s power in this age. Guided by the Holy Spirit, they will strike the enemy and create havoc in the kingdom of darkness. Some of these messengers of power may be martyred, but will be so filled with the glory of God; that they will not have any fear as they leave their earthly bodies and enter into Heaven.

The Kingdom of God is getting ready to come in power. Right before it comes in power, the Lord’s messengers and bride will come forth in His power. They will break through the veil as forerunners and walk in the power of the age to come, right before the age does come.
